The Citizen Lab is proud to participate in the Google Policy Fellowship for the fifth time next summer. In June 2013, a Google Policy Fellowship based at the Citizen Lab will be be offered to a student who is passionate about technology and Internet policy. The Citizen Lab has an opening in the summer term for a software developer / research assistant. The successful candidate will work with the Citizen Lab team to develop tools for Internet censorship monitoring. This position is ideal for an undergraduate computer science or engineering student in 2nd year or above (preferably having taken at least one networking course).
