Mesh 2011 is Canada’s premier Web conference. It brings together a diverse mix of leaders from business, marketing, academia, advocacy, and media communities to discuss the impact of social media. This year’s conference is held in Toronto from March 25 to 26 and will explore a range of topics including the role social media is playing within political protests in the Middle East, the value and importance of influence, the changing work landscape, and the psychology of online motivation.
Professor Ron Deibert will deliver the keynote for the society track and discuss state control and surveillance of the internet, and how citizens are responding.
