On April 11-12th, 2012, Citizen Lab Senior Researcher Sarah McKune attended the Conference on China and Cybersecurity hosted by the Naval War College and the University of California Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC) in UC San Diego, La Jolla, CA.
The conference is a collaboration between the Naval War College and IGCC and brings together computer security and China experts to focus on the international security implications of competition in cyberspace. It aims to foster an open-source China cybersecurity research community in order to advance academically-rigorous, empirically-grounded, and policy-relevant understandings of the cyberspace dimensions of conflict and cooperation in China’s relations with the U.S. and its regional neighbors.
