Citizen Lab Director and founder Ron Deibert will be attending events in various European cities this week.
On October 4, he will be attending the Human Rights Watch Film Festival in Geneva for a screening of Black Code, the documentary based on his book. Following the screening, he will participate in a panel discussion with Dinah PoKempner, General Counsel for Human Rights Watch, and Roxana Radu, Programme Manager for The Graduate Institute.
On October 5, he will be in Paris to attend and provide the closing remarks for a conference hosted by the Paris Institute of Political Studies. The conference, entitled The Internet, Privacy Actors and Security Challenges, will look at the intersection of technologists, policy-makers and law enforcement bodies as they work together to address security issues.
