Emile Dirks Elected to PEN Canada’s Board of Directors

Senior research associate Emile Dirks has been elected to serve as a member of PEN Canada’s board of directors. 

Emile will chair the newly-formed Digital Threats committee, which will explore how digital and emerging technologies are impacting freedom of expression in Canada and around the world. Citizen Lab director Ron Deibert currently serves as a member of PEN Canada’s Advisory Council.
