Join senior researcher Noura Aljizawi at the inaugural Ottawa Civic Space Summit on April 21. She will speak on the panel titled “Defend Across Borders: Safe Havens, Exile, and Transnational Repression” discussing mobilization in exile, transnational repression and its digital means, and responsibilities of host states.
The panel will explore policy responses and recommendations for Canada to strengthen its role in defending democracy and responding to transnational threats against exiled dissidents.
