Citizen Lab founder and director, Ron Deibert, discusses how states can use various spyware technologies to compromise the privacy and security of its citizens.
Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert was interviewed by CTV News about the newly released Black Code documentary, which has been screening at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, and is in theatres April 14th. The ‘Black Code’ documentary film is based on Ron Deibert’s book of the same name, and was directed by Nicholas de Pencier, who also participated in the CTV interview.

The ‘Black Code’ documentary film, based on Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert’s book of the same name, will be in theatres as of April 14th, 2017. It will also be screened as part of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival in London on March 10 and 11, 2017, and is to be followed by a discussion on both evenings, and again in Toronto on April 6th.
