Jon Penney is a Senior Research Fellow at the Citizen Lab. He is a legal scholar and social scientist based at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, in Toronto, where he is an Associate Professor and holds the York Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance, and the Law.
Lokman Tsui
Lokman Tsui (徐洛文) is a research fellow at the Citizen Lab. He is currently working on a book, a personal history of authoritarianism.
Tsui is a writer, recovering academic, and amateur activist on issues of freedom and authoritarianism, with a focus on free speech, new technologies, and Hong Kong.
Daniel Roethlisberger
Daniel Roethlisberger is a Fellow with the University of Toronto’s Citizen Lab. In his day job, Daniel is a seasoned security practitioner who has spent most of his career defending national critical infrastructure in Switzerland.
