Senior Fellow
Lex Gill is a Senior Fellow at the Citizen Lab and a litigation attorney based in Montreal. Her work at the Citizen Lab focuses on issues of freedom of expression, privacy, national security and discrimination, particularly in the North American context. She has argued before every level of court in Canada, regularly appears before legislative bodies and commissions, and has taught several courses at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, including an advanced seminar on emerging technologies and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Lex is a member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Barreau du Québec.
