Citizen Lab Post-Doctoral Fellow Stefania Milan appeared in TVO’s The Agenda to speak about “hacktivism”, where activists would use their hacking skills to bring about political change. Recently, hacktivists have shut down sites whose actions they disagree with as well as exposed vulnerabilities in governments and corporations.

This episode of The Agenda discussed who these hacktivists are and what they are accomplishing.
