Citizen Lab Senior Advisor Robert Guerra, Senior Researcher Sarah McKune and Research Officer Adam Senft recently participated in Google’s Internet at Liberty 2012: Promoting Progress and Freedom event in Washington, DC.
Following the successful Internet at Liberty 2010 in Budapest, this event brought together three hundred scholars, activists, journalists, and representatives of government and the private sector to explore creative ways to expand the free flow of information online. Citizen Lab researchers also participated in sessions aimed at forming global networks of universities and other research institutions who study online free expression.
