Citizen Lab Research Manager Masashi Crete-Nishihata participated at the Seoul International Media Conference, which took place from 22-24 June 2012 at Yonsei University.

The 3rd East-West Center International Media Conference explored the impact of new media on news reporting and events in Asia and the Pacific. Masashi Crete-Nishihata spoke on the plenary panel on “Internet Freedom in Asia and the Pacific” alongside Donny Budhi Utoyo (Executive Director, ICT Watch), Anja Kovacs (Project Director, The Internet Democracy Project) and Professor Kyungsin Park (Korea University). The panel was moderated by Lokman Tsui (Policy Advisor, Google)
