Citizen Lab Security Researcher and Technical Advisor Morgan Marquis-Boire spoke at the Kaspersky Threatpost Security Analyst Summit on 4 February, 2013. The annual Security Analyst Summit (SAS) is taking place from 3-7 February in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Marquis-Boire spoke about the the commercialization of online spying.
The main goal of the Summit is to build bridges between Kaspersky Lab’s researchers and developers, members of global law enforcement agencies and CERTs, partners in the fight against cyber-crime and members of the security research community. The objective is to showcase cutting-edge research, new technologies and discuss ways to improve collaboration to thwart emerging security threats.
