Bytes for All, Pakistan (B4A) has been selected as a winner of the 2nd Annual Avon Communication Award: Speaking Out About Violence Against Women. B4A won this year’s Innovative Campaign Award and a $5,000 grant.

Bytes for All, Pakistan is a human rights organization with a focus on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). It experiments and organizes debate on the relevance of ICTs for sustainable development and strengthening human rights movements in the country. B4A’s Shahzad Ahmad is a Citizen Lab Cyber Steward.

The Awards Ceremony will take place on 7 March 2013 from 1:00pm to 2:45pm at the Commission on the Status of Women, UN Headquarters New York.
