Director Ron Deibert to give lecture at the University of British Columbia

Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert will present a talk at the Utopia/Dystopia: Creating the Worlds That We Want lecture series on 23 January, 2014.  This is a new interdisciplinary lecture series organized by Green College and the Creative Writing Program at the University of British Columbia and co-sponsored by OpenMedia.ca.

Entitled “Cyber Swarming: Distributed Counter Intelligence and Surveillance as Global Civil Security“, Professor Deibert’s talk will take place from 5pm-6:30pm at Cecil Green Park House, 6251 Cecil Green Park Road, Green College, University of British Columbia.  OpenMedia.ca Executive Director, Steve Anderson, will provide the introduction.

All are welcome and admission is free.
