Doctoral Fellow Jennie Phillips at Canadian Disaster and Humanitarian Response Training Program

Doctoral Fellow Jennie Phillips will participate in the Canadian Disaster and Humanitarian Response Training Program at McGill University, in Montreal QC. The program runs from May 5-18.

Phillips is volunteering and participating with an assigned role in the 4 day full-scale simulation exercise. The SimEx comprises 4 days of intensive applied learning in a simulated humanitarian emergency. Students work in teams to conduct a rapid health assessment and devise a service delivery plan that may include a vaccination campaign or field hospital.
