Citizen Lab Senior Security Researcher Morgan Marquis-Boire will attend the 2016 USENIX Enigma Conference on January 25-27 at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. The conference draws the security community together with a focus on threat assessment and attacks.
Along with Eva Galperin of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Marquis-Boire will give a talk on protecting high risk users. The talk, scheduled for Tuesday, January 26 from 2:00 to 2:30 PM, will discuss the issues with attempting to combat cyber attacks, given the time consuming and resource intensive nature of effective defences.
