Black Code, the documentary based on Citizen Lab founder and director Ron Deibert’s book of the same name, is now available for streaming on iTunes, Google Play, and other platforms.

Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert gave a talk at the Berkeley Centre for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) as part of a seminar series, in which he spoke about “Cyber Espionage and Civil Society: A Silent Epidemic.” In his presentation, Deibert focused on Citizen Lab’s work on targeted digital threats.

Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert was interviewed by CTV News about the newly released Black Code documentary, which has been screening at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, and is in theatres April 14th. The ‘Black Code’ documentary film is based on Ron Deibert’s book of the same name, and was directed by Nicholas de Pencier, who also participated in the CTV interview.

Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert joined the Talking Politics podcast to discuss “Power in the Digital Age” with David Runciman and Catherine Carr. Deibert discusses how autocratic regimes take advantage of the latest technology for their political ends.
