As part of her ongoing research on developing resilience in high-risk digital crisis response networks, Citizen Lab doctoral fellow Jennie Phillips will be speaking at a number of events.

Jennie will be giving a talk titled “Debunking Utilization-Focused Evaluation (U-FE): Lessons Learned Applying UFE Theory to Practice” at The 25th Edward F. Kelly Evaluation Conference at OISE, University of Toronto on November 7th, 2014

Citizen Lab Doctoral Fellow Jennie Phillips attended the conference for the International Association of Emergency Managers in Orlando, Florida. Her presentation introduced some of her research ideas around using mobile learning as a means to integrate the activities of online communities during disasters into official emergency response channels.
